Peter is a videographer, video editor, storyteller, and photographer. Peter initially became interested in using film to involve people in events happening around the world through documentaries. He studied film at Huntington University and has been the staff videographer and content producer at Chapelstreet Church for the past five years.
During his time at Chapelstreet Church, he has developed a passion for sharing missionaries stories, helping the partner church see the impact of support of these ministries, and inspiring people to become more involved in missions.
Heather is a content and script writer, interviewer, and storyteller. She studied writing and missions at Huntington University. After living overseas in middle and high school, Heather became interested in the global Church and celebrating the way God is working in different countries and cultures.
It is Heather’s desire to create stories that move people to the question, “What is God doing through me?” and to challenge people to engage in the Great Commission.
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.1 Chronicles 16:24
Due to increased rates of secularization and heightened hostility toward Christianity throughout Europe and the Mediterranean, many people in the North American church are unaware of God’s movement among some of the least-reached peoples in the world. We are called to celebrate God’s movement among least-reached peoples and inspire God’s people to engage in ministry in this region.
One of the biggest challenges of mission work is communicating effectively with ministry partners. Creating compelling media requires time and skill that most ministry workers do not have. Our content will be available to Converge ministry partners and supporting churches . We will serve as Converge International Ministries’ first on-field story team. We will travel to the ministry locations throughout Europe and its surrounding regions, capturing material to help share the local team’s vision and document their progress as God leads them.
We will visit Converge workers in Europe and the Mediterranean to interview missionaries and those impacted by their ministry, capture footage of the ministry to share with their supporters to help show how God is using their gifts, and train missionaries in storytelling and basic photography. We will also work closely with the international leader to create videos that express the vision of new and growing ministries.
Work in Poland
We will be based in Poznań, Poland, where we will be involved with the 15:5 West Initiative, which seeks to start a gospel movement in three least reached countries: Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. We will assist Evangelical Poland, a coalition of church leaders working together for resourcing, training, and outreach, through media training and the creation of videos. We will also serve the local church and engage our friends and neighbors in Gospel-focused conversation.
This ministry can only happen through the generosity of God’s people.
Converge International Ministries
We are asking God for a Gospel-movement among every least reached people group in our generation.
