“I feel like the church is associated with like a big old building that is cold and boring. It’s cool to show that this is not what the church is about.”

— Piia, Ministry Coordinator for The Refuge

The Refuge

The Refuge outreach center is a place for the youth of Tartu to connect, learn, and hear the gospel. It was started by Beth Ann, a former Converge global worker, and it continues under the leadership of Piia, a young Estonian woman who has been with the ministry from the beginning. After spending more time in the center and meeting Piia, we’re excited to see how this ministry flourishes in the coming years.
